Jared Kushner, senior white house advisor and Trump’s son in law, addressed allegations of Russian collusion during the 2016 election outside the White House on Monday afternoon.

“Since the first questions were raised in March I have been consistent in saying that I have been eager to share any information I have with the investigating bodies, and I have done so today. The records and documents I have voluntarily provided will show that all of my actions were proper and occurred in the normal course of events in a very unique campaign.”

“Let me be very clear: I did not collude with Russia nor do I know of anyone else in the campaign who did so. I had no improper contacts. I have not relied on Russian funds for my businesses. And I have been fully transparent in providing all requested information,” said Kushner.

Kushner then got to the real issue of why he was accused of colluding with Russia:

“Donald Trump had a better message and ran a smarter campaign, and that is why he won. Suggesting otherwise ridicules those who voted for him,”

Kushner also denied the allegation that there was contact or secret back channels between him and Russian ambassador Sergey Kislyak during the Trump campaign. He stated that after Trump had won the election, he asked Ambassador Kislyak what person in the Russian government he should contact to establish diplomatic ties.

“The fact that I was asking about ways to start a dialogue after Election Day should, of course, be viewed as strong evidence that I was not aware of one that existed before Election Day.”

It’s pretty great to see the mainstream media have their narrative destroyed time after time.
